Belanova Apartments and Suites is a luxury boutique short stay property located in the heart of Maitama, Abuja's most exclusive district. We invite you to relax in one of our spacious apartments, unwind at our rooftop pool and gym and dine at one of our 2 on-site restaurants.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chef

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Work Schedule: Shift-based (including nights, weekends and public holidays)

Role Summary

• Belanova Apartments & Suites is a hospitality brand committed to delivering excellent guest experiences.
• We are seeking a skilled chef to be an extension of that brand by joining our culinary team in preparing high-quality meals, maintainingkitchen standards and contributing to an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure food quality, taste and presentation meet hotel expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Monitor food stock levels and report inventory requirements.
• Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Assist in menu planning and the development of new dishes and other kitchen tasks asrequired/assigned.

Qualifications / Skills Required

• Proven experience as a Chef, Cookor similar role in a hotel, restaurant or hospitality establishment.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention-to-detail and commitment to quality.
• Culinary certification is an added advantage.
• Experience in preparing both local and continental dishes is an added advantage.
