BTHDC is an ultra-modern Diagnostic Center facility which provides Radiology and laboratory services at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja Lagos.
BTHDC is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) between PPC Limited and Lagos State Government. We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Centre's Quality Management System (QMS), including the Policy Manual, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other quality documents.
- Oversee the Quality Management Document Control System to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.
- Review quality assurance standards, policies, and procedures regularly and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives across all departments to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Monitor compliance with quality standards and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead investigations into quality incidents, non-conformities, complaints, and workflow disruptions, ensuring appropriate documentation and resolution.
- Manage the Centre's complaint handling and inspection processes to ensure effective investigation, root-cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Monitor service delivery processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and operational performance.
- Prepare and present quality assurance reports, audit findings, and compliance updates to Management.
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc./HND) in Medical Laboratory Science, Quality Management, Health Sciences, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
- Relevant quality management certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 4–7 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management, Compliance, or Healthcare Operations.
- At least 1–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience within a healthcare, laboratory, hospital, or diagnostic centre environment is required.
