Procurement Officer at BT Health and Diagnostics Centre

BTHDC is an ultra-modern Diagnostic Center facility which provides Radiology and laboratory services at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja Lagos.

BTHDC is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) between PPC Limited and Lagos State Government. PPC Limited is affiliated to Philips Medical System (PMS), a global leader in providing clinical management and diagnostic technology, and have been successful in transferring latest technology to the healthcare industry in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular stock assessments in collaboration with team leads of all departments to avoid stockouts.
• Raise purchase orders (POs) for stock items after price comparisons from at least two vendors and negotiation of favorable payment terms.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock receipts from vendors and stock issuance to various client service units.
• Track stock requisitions against previous requests and compare with service revenue to monitor consumption trends.
• Post all stock usage accurately by each service team for the month into the inventory management system.
• Submit all vendor invoices to the finance managerfor review and approval.
• Ensure all items delivered by vendors are properly received, inspected, and signed off.
• Generate and submit accurate weekly and monthly reports on stock movement and balances.
• Post foreign inventory purchases into Sage on a monthly basis.
• Conduct monthly physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc./HND) in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Logistics, Purchasing and Supply, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related role.
