Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Bookstore Assistant located in Gandu Albasa.
• The Bookstore Assistant will be responsible for supporting store operations, assisting customers in finding and purchasing books, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Additional responsibilities include operating the point-of-sale system, restocking shelves, and providing excellent customer service.
• The role also involves contributing to the store’s overall presentation and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail or bookstore environments is a plus but not mandatory.
• Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills: A friendly demeanor, active listening abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to manage inventory, restocking tasks, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with operating point-of-sale systems and handling basic computer tasks.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
• Passion for Books and Reading: A genuine interest in books, literature, and promoting a love for reading among customers.
• Flexibility and Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and adapt to dynamic store operations.
