Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited, established in 2009, is a hospitality consultancy firm specializing in providing expert services to small and medium - sized hotels.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Accounts

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced, result-driven, and professionally qualified Head of Accounts to oversee and manage the financial operations of our hospitality business.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, statutory compliance, internal controls, and providing strategic financial leadership to support business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial operations of the organization.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Ensure compliance with all tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Develop and implement effective financial control systems.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Monitor revenue, costs, and profitability across all business units.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification).
• Minimum of 10 years' working experience in the hospitality industry.
• Proven experience in a senior finance or accounting management position.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
