Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Warri, Delta

Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, reliability, and performance of critical operational assets and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Plan and coordinate routine and emergency maintenance activities.
  • Ensure maximum equipment uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee maintenance of heavy equipment, pipelines, cranes, trenchless technology rigs, and auxiliary machinery.
  • Conduct inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage equipment lifecycle, upgrades, and replacement planning.
  • Coordinate spare parts and consumables procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, industry regulations, and maintenance standards.
  • Develop and enforce maintenance SOPs, conduct risk assessments, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance engineers, technicians, and contractors.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, monitor costs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Equipment Availability Rate of 95%+ uptime
  • Reduction in Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
  • Improvement in Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF)
  • 100% HSE compliance
  • Maintenance cost optimization
  • Increased planned maintenance ratio.

Requirements & Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of maintenance experience in EPC, construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years in a maintenance leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven experience managing heavy-duty construction and industrial equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Expertise in maintenance planning, asset management, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Safety-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented approach.
