We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (R&A) Technician

Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service refrigeration and air conditioning systems (split units, VRF/VRV, chillers, industrial cooling units)
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC/R equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related faults
• Carry out repairs and replace components (compressors, condensers, evaporators, control boards, etc.)
• Handle refrigerants safely - recovery, recycling, and recharging
• Maintain accurate service records and advise clients on energy efficiency
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls

Qualifications

• OND, Trade Test Certificate, or equivalent in R&A, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 3–4 years of hands-on R&A/HVAC experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC principles and systems
• Proficiency in refrigerant handling and gas charging
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical schematics
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• City & Guilds, NABTEB, or any recognized HVAC/R certification is an advantage
