The Role

• We are recruiting on behalf of a chemical manufacturing company seeking to hire a commercially driven Sales Officer based in Lagos.
• In this role, you will be responsible for growing revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities across multiple sectors while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.
• You will prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documents, participate in client meetings and commercial discussions, and work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Procurement, Production, Operations, Finance, Logistics, and HSE, to ensure accurate costing, timely delivery, and consistent customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within chemical manufacturing or oil and gas services.
• Proven ability to identify, pursue, and convert business opportunities
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
• Commercial awareness with a working knowledge of contracts and pricing.
• Experience collaborating across departments in a structured business environment.
• Familiarity with oil and gas industry standards, products, or supply chain is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Remuneration
N300,000 – N350,000 monthly (gross), commensurate with experience.
