Job Summary

• Chels fashion empire is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pattern Maker to join our growing fashion team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating fashion sketches and design concepts into accurate production-ready patterns.
• The Pattern Maker must possess strong technical skills, excellent garment construction knowledge, and the ability to create patterns that ensure impeccable fit and finishing across both bespoke and ready-to-wear collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, develop, and modify garment patterns from sketches, samples, and design specifications.
• Create first patterns, grading, and pattern corrections.
• Work closely with designers and sample makers to achieve desired fit and design details.
• Conduct fittings and implement necessary pattern adjustments.
• Ensure patterns are production-ready and meet quality standards.
• Maintain pattern archives and technical documentation.
• Assist with garment development from concept to final production.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pattern Maker in a fashion house or garment production environment.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and fitting.
• Ability to draft patterns manually and/or using pattern-making software.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with women’s wear, bridal, evening wear, or couture garments is an added advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.

Salary
N150,000 - N180,000 monthly.
