Higherground Manufacturing Company, a reputable FMCG Company in Oyo State, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Location: Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilties

  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of products.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement effective warehouse and transportation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate transportation activities to ensure timely and safe delivery of products.
  • Manage fleet operations, vehicle maintenance schedules, and transportation documentation.
  • Supervise warehouse and transport personnel and ensure optimal workforce productivity.
  • Prepare periodic reports on warehouse and transport performance.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and distribution of products.
  • Maintain health, safety, security, and environmental standards within the warehouse and transport operations.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, logistics providers, and other stakeholders as required.

Academic qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • HND / BSc Degree in Supply Chain Management, Transport and Logistics or Science related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably within the FMCG, or manufacturing sector.
  • Sound knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
  • Good understanding of FMCG storage and distribution requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
