Job Summary

  • They are seeking a results-driven and commercially astute Sales Specialist to drive business growth, expand the company's customer base, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across the industry.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, developing sales strategies, and achieving revenue targets within the oil and gas market.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil and gas, energy, industrial, and related sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Generate leads, conduct market research, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential customers.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, negotiations, and contract discussions.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable products and services.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Market Intelligence & Analysis:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and potential risks within the energy and oil & gas sector.
  • Provide regular market feedback and insights to management.

Contract Negotiation & Proposal Development:

  • Prepare quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals.
  • Participate in contract negotiations to secure profitable business agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during contract execution.

Account Management:

  • Manage key customer accounts and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Monitor project progress and coordinate with internal teams to meet client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline reports

Reporting & Performance Tracking:

  • Prepare periodic sales reports and performance updates.
  • Track sales activities, opportunities, and revenue projections using CRM tools.
  • Provide recommendations for improving sales performance and market penetration.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Number of new clients acquired.
  • Revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Client retention and satisfaction levels.
  • Conversion rate of leads to sales opportunities.
  • Value of contracts secured and renewed.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of proven sales experience within the Energy, Oil & Gas, Industrial, Engineering, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in B2B sales, contract negotiation, and account management.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong business development and sales acumen.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong understanding of the oil and gas value chain and energy market dynamics.
  • Ability to prepare commercial proposals and tender documents.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts effectively.
