Job Summary

  • Collins American International Academy is seeking a creative and passionate Fine Art Teacher to join our faculty.
  • The successful candidate will nurture artistic talent, encourage self-expression, and guide students in mastering diverse art techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver engaging art lessons across multiple grade levels.
  • Studio Instruction: Teach drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media techniques.
  • Curriculum Development: Align art programs with Cambridge International standards.
  • Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress through projects, portfolios, and exhibitions.
  • Exhibition Coordination: Organize student art shows and contribute to school cultural events.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, inspiring, and inclusive studio environment.

Required Skills:

  • Artistic Expertise: Strong proficiency in traditional and contemporary art forms.
  • Creativity: Ability to inspire originality and innovation in students.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Technology Integration: Use of digital tools and software in art education.
  • Mentorship: Encourage students to pursue competitions, scholarships, and artistic careers.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art, Art Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Teaching Certification as required by local education authorities.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2–5 years teaching fine art in schools or institutions.
  • Proven record of student exhibitions and artistic achievements.
  • Experience in art event organization and collaboration with cultural programs.
