Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant with strong Microfinance Bank (MFB) and fintech experience to oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and accounting operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Manage reconciliations, transaction monitoring, and settlement processes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, tax remittances, and audit readiness.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations.
• Maintain financial controls andaccurateaccounting records.
• Support financial analysis and operational reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, Economics, or any related field.
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience, with at least 3 years in fintech, digital payments, or Microfinance Banking (MFB) operations.
• Strong experience in fintechor Microfinance Banking operations.
• Excellent reconciliation, reporting, and financial analysis skills.
• Good understanding of banking and payment operations.
• Ability to manage multiple financial processes in a fast-paced fintech environment.
• Proficiencyin accounting and ERP tools such as QuickBooks, Sage, ZohoBooksorSAP.
• Professional accounting certification(ICAN, ACCA, ACA)isan added advantage.
