Job Title: Nursing Officer (Wellness Nurse)

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and patient-centered Wellness Nurse to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting preventive healthcare, conducting wellness assessments, providing health education, and supporting clients in achieving their overall health and wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct health screenings, wellness assessments, and basic clinical evaluations.
• Provide health education and lifestyle counseling on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and disease prevention.
• Support the planning and execution of corporate wellness programs and health campaigns.
• Monitor clients' health status and provide appropriate follow-up and referrals where necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with clinical standards.
• Assist in coordinating health talks, wellness events, and employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Administer basic treatments and nursing care within the scope of practice.
• Ensure compliance with established clinical protocols, infection prevention measures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver quality wellness services.
• Promote a positive client experience through excellent patient care and communication.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Registered Midwife (RM) qualification.
• Valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
• 2–3 years' clinical nursing experience.
• Previous experience in wellness, preventive healthcare, occupational health, or corporate health programs will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for health promotion, preventive care, and patient education.
