Hikima Community Mobilization and Development Initiative (HCOMDI) is a woman led Non-governmental Organization established in 2006 organized and operating under the laws of the State and Federal Republic of Nigeria and is primarily working in areas of Education, Health and Good Governance.

Job Title: Finance Officer
Location: Sokoto
Job Purpose
- The Finance Officer will ensure effective financial management of project resources, compliance with Donor and organizational policies, accurate financial reporting and proper maintenance of financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintained accurate financial records and accounting documentation
- Process payments, advances and reimbursements
- Verify supporting documents before payment processing
- Prepare payment vouchers and journal entries
- Maintain cashbooks, bankbooks and financial registers
- Monitor project expenditures against approved budget
- Assist in budget preparation, revision and forecast
- Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Records
- Support Internal and External Audits
- Provide Financial Management Support to field teams
