We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operation Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Role

  • We are looking for a highly organized, results-oriented, and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize Quickli App's day-to-day operations across Lagos.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, service excellence, vendor satisfaction, rider performance, and seamless order fulfillment.
  • This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and hands-on experience managing operations in a fast-paced environment such as logistics, e commerce, food delivery, transportation, or marketplace platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Oversee order fulfillment, delivery performance, and customer service operations.
  • Monitor and improve key operational metrics, including delivery times, order accuracy, customer satisfaction, and merchant retention.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, merchants, riders, and key operational partners.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Customer Support, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on business objectives.
  • Analyze operational data and prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop operational teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
  • Support expansion initiatives and new market rollouts across Lagos and beyond.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc. / HND) in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, E-commerce, Food Delivery, Transportation, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale operational processes and teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of operational KPIs and performance management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a technology-driven marketplace, logistics, food-tech, or on-demand delivery platform.
  • Knowledge of rider management, route optimization, and merchant operations.
  • Experience using operational dashboards and performance-tracking systems.
