Job Title: Electrician

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.
• The successful candidate will ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and control systems.
• Inspect electrical systems and identify faults or potential hazards.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Install and maintain lighting systems, circuit breakers, transformers, and distribution panels.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Test electrical systems and components using appropriate tools and instruments.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and company safety policies.
• Respond to emergency electrical breakdowns and power-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades personnel as required.

Qualifications

• Trade Test Certificate, Technical/Vocational Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
• Relevant professional certification or license where applicable.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in the use of electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Physical ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
