Job Title: Plumber

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining water supply systems, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, and related plumbing equipment. The role ensures that all plumbing systems function efficiently and comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures.
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify faults, leaks, blockages, or other issues.
• Repair or replace damaged pipes, valves, faucets, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing components.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing layouts.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper functionality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
• Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies and service requests.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Coordinate with other maintenance personnel and contractors when required.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of plumbing tools and equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and organized at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Candidates should possess a SSCE/OND, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• Certification or vocational training in Plumbing is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in plumbing installation and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
