Job Title: Construction Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Construction Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution, monitoring, and coordination of construction projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with approved project plans.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities and contractor operations on assigned projects.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely execution of work.
• Resolve technical issues and construction snags promptly.
• Manage workforce deployment and site productivity.
• Ensure availability and proper utilization of construction materials.
• Monitor workmanship quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain proper housekeeping standards.
• Review contractors’ progress and provide performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings and construction procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and project progress reports.
• Coordinate artisans, vendors, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience in construction management.
• COREN registration required.
• Membership of NSE.
• Strong site management and team coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple construction activities simultaneously.
• Excellent reporting and problem-solving capabilities.

Salary
N500,000 monthly.
