Administrative Assistant at International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA)

We are recruiting suitable Nigerian nationals to fill the position below:

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Ref. No: IITA/P&C/NRS2026-022
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Contract: 3-years renewable contract

Duties

• Track FMS expenses and prepare monthly expense report for Head of FMS use.
• Receive and follow up on complaints or work order requests.
• Assist in issuance of uniforms. PPEs, and consumables to staff as applicable.
• Assist in closing of work orders and compiling relevant chargebacks.
• Assist units in raising requests for quotations and materials.
• Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements
Qualification:

• OND in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

Competencies
The ideal candidate must have:

• Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks, maintain orderly systems, and follow through on priorities.
• High level of accuracy in documentation, data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
• Clear written and verbal communication skill, with the ability to engage professionally with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Good computer proficiency.
