Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Officer to join our real estate team.
  • The ideal candidate will provide legal support on property transactions, land documentation, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and corporate legal matters.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting the company's interests while ensuring all real estate activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and negotiate real estate contracts, agreements, leases, deeds, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal due diligence on land and property acquisitions.
  • Verify title documents and ensure the authenticity of property ownership records.
  • Manage land registration, perfection of title documents, and other property-related regulatory processes.
  • Liaise with government agencies, regulatory bodies, external solicitors, and other stakeholders on legal matters.
  • Provide legal advice on property acquisitions, developments, sales, and tenancy matters.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant real estate, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle disputes, claims, and litigation involving the company and its properties.
  • Conduct legal research and provide opinions on emerging legal and regulatory issues affecting the real estate sector.
  • Maintain and organize legal records, contracts, and property documentation.
  • Support the recovery of company assets and resolution of property-related disputes where necessary.
