Job Title: Construction Project Manager (CPM)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all construction projects from initiation to completion. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with approved specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects across multiple sites.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
  • Supervise Construction Managers, Engineers, Builders, Contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Manage project costs, procurement activities, and material utilization.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Review and approve contractors’ valuations, work progress, and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on all project sites.
  • Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare and present periodic project performance reports to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years post-qualification experience in construction project management.
  • Registered with COREN.
  • Membership of NSE.
  • PMP certification is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, project planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and reporting abilities.

Salary
N500,000 - N800,000 / month.
