Job Title: QA / QC Inspector

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • They are seeking experienced QA/QC Inspector to be part of its expanding operations.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections and quality control activities to ensure construction, fabrication, and installation works comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of materials, fabrication, welding, piping, structural works and installations.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and procedures.
  • Verify compliance with project quality requirements and applicable codes and standards.
  • Witness inspections, tests and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities.
  • Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, quality records and documentation.
  • Raise and monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Coordinate with project teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure all quality documentation is properly maintained.

Requirements & Experience

  • B.Sc.Degree, HND, or ND in relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years oil & gas construction/fabrication experience.
  • Relevant quality certifications are an advantage.
  • ISO 9001:2015 certification is an advantage.
  • NDT Level II certification is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of oil & gas QA/QC systems and documentation control.
  • Excellent understanding of international codes and standards.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Integrity, accountability, and quality-driven mindset.
