Job Description

• A reputable organization in Kano is seeking a Chief Security Officer (CSO) to head all security operations. Candidate must have prior service in the Nigerian Armed Forces or other security agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies, SOPs, and emergency response plans
• Lead, train, and supervise security personnel/guards
• Conduct risk assessments and threat analysis
• Liaise with Nigerian Police, DSS, Army, NSCDC, and other agencies in Kano
• Oversee access control, CCTV, perimeter security, and asset protection
• Investigate security breaches and prepare reports

Requirements

• Military/Paramilitary Background: Must have served in Nigerian Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, DSS, NSCDC, Customs, Immigration, or other Nigerian security forces. Retired/ex-service personnel preferred
• Rank: Minimum Warrant Officer/Sergeant Major/Inspector or equivalent
• Experience: 5+ years active service + 2+ years post-service security/CSO role
• Qualification: SSCE minimum. OND/HND/BSc in Security, Criminology added advantage
• Residence: Must reside in Kano or willing to relocate immediately
