We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Petrol Station Supervisor
Location: Enugu (New Haven/Ogui)

Main Responsibilities (not exhaustive)
Team Leadership & Staff Management:
- Develop a station team (pump attendants, cashiers, and security) that effectively and efficiently executes all daily retail functions.
- Provide quality oversight as it pertains to station administration, staff shifts, and core fields of employee relations, performance tracking, and timely compensation/incentive management.
- Ensure that customer complaints and internal employee disputes are handled in a consistent, fair manner.
- Provide effective coaching, on-the-pump counseling, and progressive disciplinary strategies on all workplace issues, up to and including terminations for serious misconduct (e.g., shortages or fuel theft).
- Develop strategies and tactics to address pump speed, customer service bottlenecks, and sales opportunities at the station.
- Develop local recruitment strategies for regular, peak-period, and seasonal/festive hiring to ensure zero station downtime.
Operations, Compliance & Stock Management:
- Lead all aspects of daily safety protocols, health and environmental compliance (HSE), and station maintenance management.
- Communicate company operational updates, including safety drills, regulatory updates (e.g., NMDPRA guidelines), and new promotion programs.
- Ensure daily station administrative processes—such as dipping tanks, pump meter readings, and logbook entries—are efficient, timely, and accurate.
- Ensure the station’s Point of Sale (POS) and inventory systems are used to their best, maintaining data accuracy for daily sales reporting, wet stock reconciliation, and shortage analysis.
Performance & Station Growth:
- Provide robust oversight of sales targets, competitor pricing, and market demand in the station’s immediate locality.
- Review daily and weekly sales data to identify product gaps, high-demand hours, and loss trends.
- Execution of regularly scheduled staff evaluations, including pump accuracy audits and customer service reviews.
- Use performance reviews to identify reliable senior attendants for succession into assistant supervisor or cashier roles.
Consultative Action & Strategic Solutions:
- Analyze local traffic trends, run competitive analysis on nearby stations, and recommend creative solutions to boost fuel and non-fuel revenue (e.g., lube bay or convenience store sales).
- Ensure ongoing interaction with regular commercial customers (corporate fleets, logistics drivers, and local transport unions) to maintain a strong market share.
Requirements
Professional requirements (minimum):
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND or equivalent
- Preferred Degree – (None)
- Experience required: Min 2 years
Language required (minimum):
- English Language
- Igbo (strongly recommended because of region)
Software knowledge required (minimum):
- Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides…
- OR it’s equivalents (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint etc.)
