Empearl Consulting - Our client in the Oil & Gas / Energy Services is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Engineering Manager

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Serve as the highest-level technical authority providing expert guidance on engineering design, operations, and asset management.
• Lead the resolution of complex technical challenges beyond the capacity of in-country
• Provide high-level input into design reviews, risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID, SIL), and critical system upgrades.
• Provide structured mentoring and coaching to Nigerian engineers, ensuring transfer of proprietary/OEM knowledge.
• Develop technical competence frameworks and training programs for succession planning.
• Act as the key liaison with regulators, OEMs, classification societies, and partners on critical technical issues.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, or Systems Engineering
• 10-15 years in technical leadership across Oil & Gas, Energy, or Petrochemical industries, with a proven track record in high-value projects.
• Expert in international engineering standards.
