Empearl Consulting - Our client in the Oil & Gas / Energy Services Company is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Field Service Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Main Responsibilities 

• Execute complex installation and commissioning of proprietary/OEM equipment and systems, ensuring full integration with existing infrastructure.
• Ensure equipment operates in compliance with international codes (API, ASME, ISO, IEC) and OEM specifications.
• Lead failure investigations and recommend engineering solutions to maintain asset integrity.
• Deliver specialized training to local engineers/technicians on proprietary systems, advanced diagnostic tools, and OEM maintenance procedures.
• Act as the primary link between field operations and OEM R&D/engineering support teams, ensuring feedback on design flaws and performance gaps.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Engineering in a related discipline
• Membership of an engineering professional body (NSE/COREN)
• Minimum of 7-10+ years in specialized field service engineering roles, preferably with DEMS or in high-complexity industries (Oil & Gas, Energy, Subsea, Power Systems).
