Empearl Consulting - Our client in the Oil & Gas / Energy Services is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Technical Advisor

Location: Nigeria

Main Responsibilities 

• Serve as the highest-level technical authority providing expert guidance on engineering design, operations, and asset management.
• Ensure all technical solutions comply with international codes (API, ASME, IEC, ISO) and OEM requirements.
• Provide high-level input into design reviews, risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID, SIL), and critical system upgrades.
• Oversee the technical integrity of major capital projects, shutdowns, and brownfield modifications.
• Provide structured mentoring and coaching to engineers, ensuring transfer of proprietary/OEM knowledge.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of B.Sc. in Engineering in a related discipline.
• Must possess COREN/Membership of relevant professional body.
• With 10+ years in technical leadership across Oil & Gas, Energy, or Petrochemical industries, with proven track record in high-value projects.
