Empearl Consulting - Our client in the Oil & Gas / Energy Services, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Offshore Operations Manager

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple offshore assets (rigs, platforms, FPSOs, or vessels)
• Align offshore operations with corporate business strategy and long-term objectives.
• Lead optimization initiatives to reduce downtime and maximize production efficiency.
• Drive advanced safety management systems (SMS) and lead complex risk assessments
• Interface directly with regulators, classification societies, and joint-venture partners on HSE governance. Negotiate high-value service contracts with major contractors/vendors.
• Deliver strong cost-efficiency without compromising safety or quality.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Marine, Electrical, or Offshore Engineering (mandatory) from a reputable University.
• 10 years in offshore oil & gas, maritime, or energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of drilling, subsea, production, or marine logistics.
• Offshore survival and safety certifications (BOSIET, HUET, FOET)
• Project/operations certifications: PMP, Prince2, or Lean Six Sigma.
• Specialized offshore certificates depending on role (DP - Dynamic Positioning, Crane/Lifting Operations, Marine Engineering). Must possess COREN
