Job Title: Fire Fighter

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and highly disciplined Fire Fighter to ensure fire safety, emergency preparedness, and protection of lives, property, and company assets within our furniture manufacturing facility.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for fire prevention, emergency response, safety inspections, and maintaining firefighting equipment.
• Firefighters typically respond to emergencies, conduct fire safety inspections, maintain firefighting equipment, and support emergency preparedness activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine fire safety inspections across the factory and office premises.
• Monitor compliance with fire safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Inspect, maintain, and test fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, and other firefighting equipment.
• Respond promptly to fire incidents and emergency situations.
• Organize and coordinate fire drills and evacuation exercises.
• Identify fire hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and safety activities.
• Train employees on fire prevention, emergency procedures, and safe evacuation practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND / HND or relevant qualification.
• Certification in Fire Safety, Fire Fighting, or Occupational Health & Safety is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a Fire Fighter, Fire Marshal, Safety Officer, or similar role.
• Good knowledge of firefighting equipment and emergency response procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of handling emergency situations.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
