Job Title: Medical Doctor (Day Shift)

Job Description

• We are currently seeking a highly motivated and clinically sound Medical Officer to join our team for the Day Shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care to outpatients, including consultations, accurate diagnoses, and effective treatment plans.
• Conduct ward rounds for admitted patients and monitor their clinical progress.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and handle day-to-day medical emergencies effectively.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with standard medical protocols and best practices.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families regarding disease management, prevention, and healthy lifestyles.
• Collaborate with the nursing, laboratory, and sonography teams to ensure seamless and holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date electronic medical records for all patient interactions.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary and follow up on their care.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS / MBChB) from a recognized institution.
• Licensing: Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and a current, valid practicing license.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC clinical experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong clinical acumen and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency in handling medical and minor surgical emergencies.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and bedside manner.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Location: Candidates residing within the Maryland, Ikeja, or Gbagada axis will have an added advantage.

Work Hours:

• Shift: Day Shift (e.g., 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Specific scheduling details and weekend rotation expectations will be discussed during the interview.
