Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, deployment, and expansion of Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) networks to support broadband growth and customer acquisition objectives.
• Develop and execute FTTH rollout strategies, ensuring optimal network coverage, scalability, service quality, and return on investment.
• Oversee fiber route surveys, network design, civil works, fiber laying, testing, commissioning, and customer-premises installations.
• Manage end-to-end FTTH deployment programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with technical standards.
• Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, local authorities, utility providers, and other stakeholders involved in FTTH deployment activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in Fiber Optics, GPON Technology, FTTH Network Design, Transmission Systems, Project Management, or Network Infrastructure will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10-15 years experience in fiber network planning, deployment, operations, and maintenance, with significant hands-on experience in Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) execution and rollout.
• Proven track record in the design, deployment, and large-scale commercialization of FTTH networks.
• Strong understanding of fiber network design, route planning, outside plant (OSP) deployment, civil works, testing, commissioning, and service acilvation.
• Experience working with leading telecommunications operators, broadband providers, infrastructure companies, or multinational engineering organizations.
