We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Intern

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Volunteer (Unpaid)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a proactive and organized Business Development Intern to support our client acquisition efforts.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, sending business proposals, conducting daily outreach, and following up with prospects.
  • This role focuses solely on generating leads and creating business opportunities; the intern will not be responsible for closing sales or negotiating contracts.

 Responsibilities

  • Send business proposals to prospective clients daily.
  • Conduct a minimum of 10 cold outreach activities per day via email, phone calls, social media, or other approved channels.
  • Research and identify potential clients that fit the company’s target market.
  • Follow up with prospects to ensure proposals are received and reviewed.
  • Maintain records of outreach activities and responses.
  • Submit daily and weekly activity reports.
  • Represent the company professionally in all communications.
  • Assist in expanding the company’s client database through consistent prospecting efforts.

Performance Expectations

  • Minimum of 10 outreach attempts daily.
  • Consistent sending of business proposals.
  • Timely follow-up with prospects.
  • Accurate reporting of daily activities and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE, OND, HND, or currently enrolled in a tertiary institution.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in speaking with potential clients.
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to meet daily outreach targets.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is an advantage.
