A Religious Organisation is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Mode: Full-time / Onsite (5 days, weekend inclusive)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies.
• Monitor financial controls and recommend process improvements.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with church operations and Christian faith-based practices.
