We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Inspector (General Material Specialist)

Location: Rivers

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials and verify compliance with approved specifications and purchase orders.
  • Review and verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs), Certificates of Conformance (COCs), and other quality documentation.
  • Ensure proper material identification, marking, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct inspections of metallic and non-metallic materials used in mechanical systems.
  • Verify material grades, dimensions, heat numbers, and physical conditions.
  • Monitor material storage, preservation, and handling procedures.
  • Perform positive material identification (PMI) verification when required.
  • Witness material testing activities and review laboratory test results.
  • Inspect piping materials, structural steel, valves, fittings, flanges, fasteners, and pressure-retaining components.
  • Ensure compliance with approved material specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Identify material non-conformities and prepare inspection reports and corrective action recommendations.
  • Participate in audits, quality surveillance, and vendor inspections.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and quality teams regarding material issues.
  • Maintain inspection records and material traceability documentation.
