Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and results-driven Human Resources Executive to join our team in Surulere, Lagos. This role serves as a strategic link between the organization's business objectives and its workforce, ensuring the effective management of all human resource functions.
  • The successful candidate will report directly to Management and will be responsible for driving HR initiatives, fostering employee engagement, supporting organizational growth, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. The ideal candidate must possess strong emotional intelligence, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage people and processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership:

  • Collaborate with Management to align HR strategies and initiatives with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Provide strategic HR support and recommendations to enhance organizational performance.

Talent Acquisition and Management:

  • Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention activities.
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract and retain high-performing employees.

Performance Management:

  • Administer performance management processes and employee appraisal systems.
  • Support managers in setting performance goals and developing employee improvement plans.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.

Training and Development:

  • Identify organizational training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
  • Support career development initiatives and succession planning activities.

HR Compliance and Policy Administration:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
  • Review, update, and implement HR policies and procedures as required.

Organizational Development

  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
  • Support change management initiatives and organizational development programs.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Assist in the administration of compensation structures, benefits programs, and employee welfare initiatives.
  • Ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.

HR Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report key HR metrics to support informed decision-making.
  • Generate HR reports and insights to improve workforce planning and performance.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Humanities, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
  • Professional HR certification from a recognized HR body (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, etc.).
  • Minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in Human Resources Management.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and other HR-related software applications.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws, employment regulations, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Experience in HR metrics, analytics, and workforce reporting is highly desirable.
