They are recruiting for the position below:

Job Title: Senior Sales Consultant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Ideal Start Date: Within 4 to 6 weeks of the offer to accommodate the notice period

Job Description

  • This is a senior commercial role driving growth across all four revenue streams, with particular emphasis on workforce deployment, full - time placement, and solar project financing.
  • You will run your own pipeline end to end: prospecting, qualifying, pitching, negotiating, closing, and managing the relationship post - close.
  • You will work directly with senior leadership on strategy and revenue planning, and operate independently on execution.
  • The company expects you to walk in with an existing network, an established sales discipline, and the commercial maturity to handle conversations with C - suite, finance directors, and procurement leads from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own your pipeline across all four revenue streams in Zoho CRM
  • Hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets agreed with senior leadership
  • Close workforce deployment, placement, training, and financing deals end to end: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, contract, and post - close handover
  • Sell project-based workforce deployment to solar companies (EPCs, developers, O&M providers) and to distributors/wholesalers who need installers to deploy their equipment (35% of time)
  • Place full-time talent into renewable energy companies and sell corporate training programs for upskilling existing workforces (30% of time)
  • Originate financing leads in two directions: outbound to commercial entities running solar projects who need project financing, and harvest financing leads from the workforce network who refer their commercial customers (25% of time)
  • Build the prospect list for the company's talent management platform launch, then actively sell platform subscriptions (10% of time)
  • Activate and expand your existing network in renewable energy, distribution relationships, commercial finance, or all of the above
  • Manage the workforce network as a two-way commercial channel: install opportunities going out, financing leads coming back in
  • Build relationships with the company's financing partners and act as the commercial face in financing conversations
  • Run your full pipeline in Zoho CRM with high data hygiene (every deal staged, every contact logged, every commitment dated)
  • Submit a Weekly Pipeline Report every Friday: what closed, what didn't close, blockers, next week's commitments
  • Attend the twice - weekly sales cadence: Monday planning (30 mins) and Friday review (30 mins)
  • Participate in the Daily Visibility ritual (15 mins each weekday): what closed yesterday, what's closing today, blockers
  • Bring market intelligence back: pricing, competitive positioning, customer pain points, sector trends
  • Contribute to commercial strategy in monthly Innovation Parties and quarterly Learning Loops
  • Help shape the platform sales motion ahead of launch by qualifying the prospect base in real-time

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years in commercial sales, business development, or commercial banking, with a track record of closing deals at ₦5M+ value
  • An established network in at least one of: (a) the Nigerian renewable energy sector (solar EPCs, distributors, wholesalers, developers), or (b) commercial finance (corporate banking SME desks, leasing companies, project finance, credit underwriting)
  • Strong CRM discipline: you have run pipelines before in Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent and treat the CRM as the source of truth
  • Experience selling to C-suite, finance directors, and procurement leads at commercial entities
  • Comfortable with a commission - led compensation model and accountable to monthly revenue targets
  • Lagos-based, willing to travel within Nigeria for client meetings, site visits, and field engagements
  • Independent and self-directed, you don't need micromanagement to hit numbers
  • Commercially mature, you can hold your own with senior commercial counterparts
  • Coachable, you take feedback seriously and adjust your approach when the data demands it
  • Comfortable in a structured rhythm: daily visibility, Monday planning, Friday review, monthly innovation, quarterly learning
  • You measure your work in closed loops (outcomes), not effort

Ideal (not required):

  • Network in both renewable energy and commercial finance
  • Experience in project financing, asset financing, or lease - to - own structures
  • Prior experience selling talent solutions, training programs, or workforce services
  • Familiarity with the Zoho suite (CRM, Cliq, Mail, Calendar, WorkDrive).

Salary and Compensation

  • N350,000 monthly plus commission on workforce deployment, placement, training, and financing deals.
  • Commission applies to all four revenue streams.
  • Specific commission rates and tiers will be discussed at offer stage and detailed in the Terms of Engagement, structured to reward both pipeline discipline and closed revenue.
  • For financing deals, commission applies where the company earns a referral fee, origination fee, or revenue share from the financing partner.

Application Closing Date
14th July, 2026.
