We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The maintenance officer will be responsible for the continuous operation of equipment and machinery, carrying out maintenance work, diagnosing problems, fitting new parts and ensuring equipment is working properly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories,evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, boilers, air compressors, ventilation, etc.)
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment for maintenance purposes.
• To manage and report on performance against departmental targets for all repairs and contractors.
• Contribute to the development of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
• Participate in the coordination of projects (e.g., renovations).

Requirements and Qualifications

• Trade Test, Diploma, OND or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in the repair of Diesel Generators and Air compressors.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• In-depth understanding of office management procedures.
• An analytical mind with problem-solving skills.
• Being adaptable and self-driven.
