Job Summary
- The Chefs are responsible for supervising kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, managing kitchen staff, controlling food costs, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee food preparation and presentation.
- Develop and standardize recipes and menu offerings.
- Supervise cooks and kitchen assistants.
- Ensure consistency in food quality and taste.
- Monitor food costs and minimize wastage.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Manage inventory and kitchen supplies.
- Coordinate kitchen operations during peak service periods.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff.
- Handle customer feedback relating to food quality.
- Ensure efficient utilization of kitchen resources.
- Maintain a safe and organized kitchen environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Culinary certification or relevant hospitality qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Chef or Senior Cook.
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality operations is preferred.
