Position Summary
- The Travel Consultant – Education will be responsible for advising prospective students on international study opportunities, managing student admissions and visa applications, coordinating educational travel arrangements, and ensuring a seamless student journey from application to destination.
- The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 6 years of proven experience in the international education and foreign educational travel industry, with strong knowledge of admissions processes, student visa requirements, university applications, and international student mobility.
Key Responsibilities
Student Recruitment and Counseling:
- Provide professional counseling and guidance to prospective students seeking international education opportunities.
- Assess students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and financial capacity to recommend suitable study destinations and institutions.
- Advise students and parents on admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, accommodation, and post-study opportunities.
University Admissions Processing:
- Manage end-to-end student application processes for universities, colleges, and institutions abroad.
- Assist students in preparing admission documents, statements of purpose, recommendation letters, and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with partner institutions regarding admissions, offers, enrollment, and student placements.
- Track application progress and ensure timely submission of all required documents.
Student Visa Advisory and Processing:
- Guide students through visa application procedures and embassy requirements.
- Review and verify visa documentation to ensure compliance with immigration regulations.
- Prepare students for visa interviews and provide pre-departure support.
- Monitor visa application outcomes and provide updates to students and parents.
Educational Travel Coordination:
- Coordinate flight bookings, travel insurance, accommodation arrangements, airport transfers, and other travel-related services for students.
- Ensure students receive comprehensive travel information before departure.
- Manage group educational tours, university visits, and study abroad programs where applicable.
Business Development and Partnership Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, educational agencies, embassies, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in educational fairs, seminars, webinars, and recruitment events.
- Identify opportunities to expand student recruitment channels and institutional partnerships.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain regular communication with students and parents throughout the admission and travel process.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and address inquiries promptly.
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and referral generation.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with university admission requirements, visa regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, admissions, visa submissions, and student communications.
- Safeguard confidential student information and documentation.
Reporting and Administration:
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on student applications, admissions, visas, and conversions.
- Maintain accurate CRM and student management records.
- Monitor and report key performance metrics to Management.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification in Education, International Relations, Tourism Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in International Education Consulting, Student Recruitment, Study Abroad Services, or Educational Travel Management.
- Proven experience processing admissions and student visas for destinations such as the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, Australia, Ireland, Europe, and the UAE.
- Strong understanding of international education systems, admission procedures, and immigration requirements.
- Existing relationships with international institutions and recruitment partners will be an added advantage.
- Professional certifications in International Education Counseling or Student Recruitment will be an advantage.
