Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Junior, Intermediate, Specialist, and Consultant)
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Duties and Responsibilities
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure management
- Familiarity with version control, deployment automation, and monitoring tools
- Understanding of scalability, reliability, operational performance, and infrastructure security
- Ability to follow deployment and operational governance standards
- Experience supporting deployment validation and operational testing activities
- Understanding of monitoring, defect resolution, and system optimization practices
- Ability to maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and release artefacts
- Ability to implement secure infrastructure and deployment practices
- Understanding of access control, logging, monitoring, and auditability standards
- Ability to support multiple platforms, projects, and deployment initiatives
- Ability to quickly adapt to evolving cloud and operational environments
- Working effectively within multi‑disciplinary teams (product, engineering, QA, business)
- Working under defined timelines and adapting to changing priorities and demand
Qualifications and Experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Design, Business, or equivalent).
- Postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- 4–15+ years of relevant professional experience, depending on role level (Junior, Intermediate, Specialist, or Consultant).
- Must have completed NYSC
- Experience working in enterprise-scale digital, IT, or technology environments
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery (Scrum / Kanban), and cross‑functional collaboration
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and delivery‑focused mindset.
