Job Title: Corporate Driver

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Corporate Driver is responsible for the safe, secure, and timely transportation of authorized personnel in line with company policies, industry safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • The role requires strict adherence to defensive driving practicesand operational discipline.

Key Responsibilites

  • Provide safe and efficient transportation for designated staff to assigned destinations
  • Ensure strict compliance with defensive driving techniques and road safety regulations at all times
  • Plan routes effectively, considering traffic conditions, security risksand time sensitivity
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after use to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance
  • Maintain cleanliness, functionality, and service readiness of assigned vehicles
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, fuel consumption, and maintenance reports
  • Ensure full compliance with company transport policies, HSE standards, and security protocols.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • 8 - 15 years’ experience as a corporate driver
  • Certified training in defensive driving (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of road safety laws and traffic regulations
  • Familiarity with security-conscious driving practices and convoy protocols (an advantage)
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret maps, GPS, and route planning tools
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
