Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Electrician to join our automobile manufacturing team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems in vehicles to ensure they meet quality, safety, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in vehicle wiring systems, batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, and control units.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical manuals.
• Conduct electrical inspections and functional tests on vehicles during and after assembly.
• Install and troubleshoot vehicle accessories such as lighting systems, alarms, tracking devices, infotainment systems, and air-conditioning controls.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with company quality standards and safety regulations.
• Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify electrical faults and verify repairs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality Control teams to resolve electrical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and workstations.
• Adhere to workplace health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of OND, NABTEB, Trade Test Certificate, or Technical College Certificate in Auto Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–5 years' relevant experience as an Auto Electrician in an automobile manufacturing company, automotive workshop, or vehicle maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in the use of electrical diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Professional certifications in automotive electrical systems will be an added advantage.
