The International School, University of Lagos (ISL) was founded on 9th November 1981, with the responsibility of providing First Class Secondary School Education of International standard that is second to none in Nigeria. In 1985, the school was inspected and granted recognition and approval to present students for WASSCE by WAEC and the Federal Ministry of Education.

Requirements & Qualifications
The applicants must possess a minimum of a First Degree in relevant disciplines as follows:

• B.Ed., B.Sc. (Ed.), or B.A. (Ed.) from a recognized university.
• B.A. or B.Sc. from a recognized university with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
• Possession of a valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate / License is compulsory.
• NYSC Discharge Certificate or Certificate of Exemption is required.
• Possession of SSCE / NECO / WASC / GCE O'Level with credits in at least five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings, is compulsory.
• Must have a minimum of 21 years of teaching experience.
• Possession of a Master's Degree in a relevant field of study will be an added advantage.
