Job Title: Power Operations Supervisor

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of power generation units and auxiliary systems to ensure reliable plant performance.
• Monitor plant efficiency, availability, and achievement of generation targets.
• Coordinate unit startup, shutdown, and load management activities.
• Supervise control room operators, shift leaders, and plant operators.
• Develop shift schedules, manpower plans, and staff training programs.
• Conduct performance evaluations and succession planning for key personnel.
• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities with maintenance teams.
• Review maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize plant availability.
• Ensure equipment defects are promptly identified, reported, and corrected.
• Monitor and analyze key operational KPIs, including availability, capacity factor, heat rate, fuel consumption, and outage rates.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 8 years work experience.

Salary
N400,000 per month.
