Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ajah, Badore, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Restaurant Accountant to manage the financial records and accounting operations of our restaurant.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, monitoring expenses, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow, sales records, and operational expenses.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
• Process payments, invoices, and supplier accounts.
• Manage payroll and other financial obligations.
• Conduct stock and inventory reconciliation where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
• Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Assist during audits and provide required financial documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualification:

• A minimum of 4 years' experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
• Professional accounting certifications will be an added advantage.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
