Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced IT Officer to support and maintain the IT infrastructure of a fast-paced plastic manufacturing company.
• The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of production-related systems, office networks, hardware, software, and communication platforms while providing timely technical support to employees across the factory and administrative departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the company's IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, printers, and network equipment.
• Provide technical support to factory and office staff, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Monitor and maintain network performance to ensure uninterrupted operations within the production facility.
• Support manufacturing systems, production software, and data collection tools used in factory operations.
• Manage user accounts, system access, and email platforms.
• Perform regular system backups and implement data security measures to protect company information.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting production-related IT equipment and office systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors for IT equipment maintenance, software licensing, and system upgrades.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and ensure all equipment is functioning optimally.
• Assist in implementing IT policies, cybersecurity measures, and technology improvements across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, software applications, networking, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience supporting factory-floor IT systems, CCTV systems, and network infrastructure is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a production-driven environment and respond promptly to technical issues.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications will be an added advantage.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month.
