Job Title: Assistant Graduate Mechanical Engineer – Oil Mill Operations
Locations: Abeokuta, Ore, Okitipupa & Akure - Ondo, Ado Ekiti - Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun & Ibadan - Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of oil mill machinery and equipment.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the mill.
- Participate in equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.
- Monitor machinery performance and report operational issues.
- Assist in ensuring machinery operates efficiently and safely.
- Support engineering projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain maintenance records and engineering documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
- Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng./B.Tech OR Mechanical.) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Must have successfully completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
- Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, maintenance principles, and industrial equipment.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop within a manufacturing environment.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an added advantage.
