Job Summary
- As a Solutions Consultant focused on FSI accounts in the SADC region, you will partner with the Sales team to drive technical outcomes and secure complex cybersecurity deals.
- You will leverage your strong technical background to understand customer needs, architect secure solutions, and demonstrate the value of Palo Alto Networks' portfolio.
- This remote role requires a proactive approach to sales execution, ensuring our financial services customers in the region adopt best-in-class security architectures to protect their digital way of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner proactively with Account Executives to identify, qualify, and close cybersecurity opportunities within the FSI sector in the SADC region.
- Conduct technical discovery to understand customer business requirements and map them to Palo Alto Networks solutions.
- Design and demonstrate complex security architectures that address specific customer challenges and business goals.
- Lead and manage Proof of Concept (POC) engagements to valid technical feasibility and demonstrate value.
- Collaborate effectively with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction and provide feedback on product direction.
- Maintain deep technical expertise on the Palo Alto Networks platform and the competitive cybersecurity landscape.
- Simplify complex technical concepts for executive audiences while focusing on the details for technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant experience in a Pre-Sales, Systems Engineering, or Solutions Consultant role, specifically within the cybersecurity or networking industry.
- Deep technical understanding of network security, cloud security, and endpoint protection technologies.
- Proven experience working with the Financial Services Industry (FSI) and understanding their specific regulatory and security requirements.
- Strong knowledge of the SADC market and business landscape.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCIE, or PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer).
- Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new solutions quickly.
