Job Title: Auto Mechanic
Location: Abeokuta, Ore, Okitipupa & Akure - Ondo, Ado-Ekiti Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun & Ibadan - Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and functional tests on vehicles and automotive systems.
- Identify mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs and adjustments.
- Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, suspension systems, braking systems, steering systems, and other vehicle components.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Follow standard operating procedures and manufacturer specifications.
- Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of an OND, Trade Test Certificate, Technical College Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Automobile Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–6years of experience as an Auto Mechanic in an automobile manufacturing company, automotive workshop, or vehicle maintenance environment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, engine diagnostics, and automotive repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specifications.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Professional certifications in automotive repair or maintenance will be an added advantage.
